Awesome...
The only word that can describe today. If the Do Life Movement 5k is coming anywhere near you you should really go to it… it’s well worth it.

Getting ready for the Do Life movement 5k in...
and I’m kinda nervous…
I think it’s a combination of meeting Ben, Jed, and Pa, and the fact that it’s going to be my first 5k… even if it is “unofficial”.
It’s going to be a long drive (around 3 hours), but I’ve got two good friends going with me to cheer me on, so it’ll be fun. I’ll post a recap tomorrow prob, as it will be...
Been a busy weekend...
Yeah, once again I’m sorry for the lack of posts lately… between work and church I just don’t have any free time. Take this weekend for example…
Friday started off at 8:00 sharp with work. Right after work (4:00) I had to run home, help mom get ready to go to my aunts for the weekend, and then leave and go to an overnight lock-in at church. I didn’t get to leave...

So yeah… it’s been awhile… (again) I started my job Wednesday and have been so busy with that I haven’t had much time to post. Plus, they have tumblr blocked! (No worries though… I am IT… I’ll get it fixed soon) I love the job though… It has def. shown me that this is what I want to do.

Just made my hotel reservation for the Rocket City Marathon in Huntsville, AL on December 10, 2011. But here’s the deal. My main goal has always been, and continues to be, getting to my goal weight. I learned last year that marathon training is not ideal for losing weight - it’s too demanding…

Got a meeting with the Mayor on Monday about the internship. They told me he never meets with the interns, and that this is a first.
Assuming I don’t screw things up at the Interview I’ll start Wednesday. They’re even already talking about it going to part-time come September…

Wow, I hadn’t realized how little I’ve been posting lately… things have been semi-hectic lately.
I managed to land an IT internship with the City. It’s 10 weeks of full-time minimum (suck) wage IT work, but it allows me to get my foot in the door for when they hire a full time person, and it’ll look great on my resume. I start that Monday.
